George Barrie’s upbeat blend of groovy rock n’ roll is inspired by bluesy songwriters across genres and generations. George first picked up his dad’s red Duo-Sonic Fender guitar at age 11 and has since built a career as a musician, songwriter, and producer in Columbus, Ohio.
The George Barrie Band debuted in 2016 with the full length album ‘Keep Dreaming' followed up by ‘Boomerang’ in 2019 along with a music video for the song 'Maybe'. ‘Family Tree’ and 'Sangria' are two self produced singles that came out 2020 and 2021 respectively. For these, George recorded and mixed everything in his home studio, grabbing various percussion and stringed instruments to fill out the tracks.
We are excited to announce the return of our summer concert series! Rockmill Brewery is located in Lancaster, OH on a 23-acre property that once served as a stagecoach stop, tavern, and gathering place in the 19th century. In that tradition of hospitality, our Tasting Room welcomes guests to sample our impressive selection of fresh, flavor-forward beers that we brew on-site. We invite you to pack a picnic to enjoy during the concert and will share all food truck information on our Instagram, @rockmillbrewery.
